Thank you! :D

Now, just to prove that huge cities and heavy industry hasn't encroached every corner of the map, here's some nice countryside screenshots.

Rocks Signs farming district, south of Daimyo Wafer. Red's Transport carries the produce here.

A new farm near Phuket, operated by Fred's Transport.

Fred's Transport dominates in and around Mondegreen, a town founded by Fred.

More farms near Adopt, the most recent town to be connected to the maglev network.

Sugar Party farming district. The transport rights will soon be sold off to Red's Transport to free up NetTrans road vehicle slots.

Thanks once again for the nice comments :)

It's here!
Big version of Mylar Nerds timelapse gif
Now hosted on Gfycat, which is ideal for larger gifs.

On another note: I'm pleased to announce that the total number of road vehicles has reached over 9000!

And now for something a little different:

Mad Rain station, just outside Neutral Milk, where the local and express mainline diverge.

A busy road crosses the line to Kettle Llama Refinery and a busy canal near Blazer Hook

Scary Tit station, with through tracks for freight trains. This station has become less congested since the bypass was built, diverting grain trains to a separate track just south of here. The congestion is now at Happy End instead.

Plus an airship. Everyone loves airships :)

I used a neat little program called GifCam to make these, and best of all, by editing the frame delay, it allows the game to look like it runs much faster than it actually does

And another one here; a short trip from Aardvark Farm to Opera Husk.
It was too big for the forums, and unfortunately a very glitchy bridge :?

An animated map of NetTrans, taken roughly every 50 years from 1930 to present (4260-ish)

Made by loading the saves with JGR's patchpack and using the Minimap patch to create non-isometric minimap shots, then combined with GIMP the same way as the timelapses. NetTrans's colour has been changed to yellow in the later years because the blue would be the same as the water; and NewCC removed because the pink would have been the same as the houses and the green would have been the same as the grass. Note that the main savegame will continue to be played in vanilla.

More tasty gifcams :)

Encapsulated Lobster Party Airport, with a busy freight line going under it. Seen are Bald Knob Refinery oil trains and a Meat Lord livestock train.

The maglev line passes over a freight line near Con Pit. The line goes to No Diodes Aluminium Plant and was one of the first bauxite lines.

HFA Skylink built an experimental vactrain line between the overcrowded small airport at No Singlet and Derisory Panty, seen here passing over a freight line next to the maglev line. Incidentally this part of the maglev line was part of the original maglev test track in 3079. Extending the vactrain line to connect Neutral Milk and Derpville is being considered, but would be an immense challenge due to passing through many densely built-up areas.

Please do! I'd love to see what other people come up with. I should really get around to making that gif-making guide.

In other news, NetTrans's bank account has just surpassed the 1 trillion dollar mark! In celebration, I will post some stats screens and a new full map shot soon.

Thanks! Many of them are from this map, which inspired this NewGRF.

Anyway, NetTrans has just reached its 1000th train! It is seen here pulling out of the newly rebuilt Tall Wafer station. A set of specially designed luxurious coaches were attached to a HS2 class, christened "Centurion", this train will cross the map and stop at many large cities along the way. It is available for charter and contains various luxurious features such as a library, swimming pool and cinema.

NetTrans's train numbering system consists of a class designation and a three-digit train number (e.g. if train number 200 is a Class 19 then it's 19200). Now that the numbr of trains is exceeding 1000, we have devised a solution to the number space problem without having to add a fourth digit. The first digit of the train number will be made hexadecimal (e.g. Train 1050 would become 19A50 instead of 191050.) Hence the HS2A00.

That probably won't happen anyway, but if we do we can cheat and use the following letters after F :P

I also liked the funny names of cities  .

Your screenshots in the form of animation, just look cool. Incredibly beautiful, Emperor Jake
A very large and developed network with a large number of different vehicles.

Make gif-making guide  . I can then also try to take screenshots similar to yours.
